Our certification covers relevant services for: Renewal Survey examination of Mooring System intended for long term moored offshore installations. We are also approved for inspecting Chain/steel & fibre ropes. The following tools from Lateral was also included in the DNG-GL certification: FlexiClean – Hydraulically driven brush for marine growth removal FlexiCal – Electrically driven linear calliper for chain measurements (FlexCal can be utilized for a range of geometries with an accuracy of ±0.1mm) FlexiTRIC – Rapid cleaning tool for mooring-wire FlexiTRIM – Inspection and measurement tool for wire rope / poly rope with real time dimension trending. The DNV-GL certification confirmes that LateraL delivers a high quality service that meets Class societies standard. According to the International Association of Class Societies (IACS), we are now approved to perform services that are acknowledged by most Class Societies.
