| The SplashZone Rehab system is assembled around the riser or member in air and lowered down through the splash-zone to seal against competent coating below the surface. Once the sheathing is installed, sealant is pumped into the void between the corroded surface and the sheath. The epoxy displaces all the water and cures creating a strong bond to the riser surface. The first installation of this solution was successfully performed by rope access technicians earlier this year for a client on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. No need for divers or ROV!
