Hot off the press! A new batch of FlexiClean tools and spare heads are now ready for delivery! The gentle but efficient red-head we all know and love is now available for sale again. We would also like to introduce you to her sister; the strong, blond house-maid. She is ready to clean virtually anything with a firm hand. The blond is not recommended for the most sensitive surfaces, like anti-fouling, but will blast through any marine growth in her way! The red-head and the blond are also available for the FlexiClean MINI for smaller ROV systems. |

LateraL introduces a new way to reinstate corrosion protection in the splash-zone! Keeping competent corrosion protection through the splash zone can be a challenge. Waves, weather, temperature, time, and mechanical damage take their toll on ageing infrastructure. In today's market there is an increased focus on continued service and life extension. LateraL has developed an affordable, easy-to-install solution that can be used to reinstate a competent coating through the splash-zone. This gives ageing assets new protection and extended lives.

LateraL has started 2016 with several new projects and new tool developments.
The FlexiClean MINI is now available! It is aimed at smaller ROV's and requires 70% less hydraulic flow than the full-size. The picture below is of the prototype of the diver-held hull cleaner using two FlexiClean MINI's. The unit is due for sea-trials within the next few weeks and shows great promise. An all-electric version of the FlexiClean (Flex-e-clean) is also under development for use with electric ROV's. In addition we are working on a couple interesting engineering projects, using our range of subsea-curing epoxy in new and novel ways. (more on these projects will follow)
One of our customers taking the FlexiClean for a spin in air to examine reaction forces from the tool, up through the manipulator. As one can see from the video, the running is steady and smooth.
